Earlier this month, the Premier announced the establishment of the Premier’s Youth Advisory Council. The EOI process is now open. It is hoped to attract as many applications as possible from young people across the State. Applicants should be able to show how passionate they are about Tasmania’s future.
The following copy is based on the public notice which appeared in the newspapers on Saturday:
If you are a young person aged 12 to 24*, living in Tasmania and passionate about Tasmania’s future, you are invited to express interest in becoming a member of the recently established Premier’s Youth Advisory Council. There are 12 positions are available.
The Council is an opportunity for young people to meet with the Premier and Government to discuss their ideas on how we can make Tasmania a better place.
The closing date for expressions of interest is 5pm, Wednesday 13 November 2019.
