New Baby Play Program at Launceston Library

Launceston Library are very excited to introduce a new program called Baby Play for parents and their pre-crawling babies aged 0-12 months.

This free program runs each Monday morning 10:15 – 10:45am for 6 weeks beginning Monday 15 October (excepting the public holiday – Nov 5th).

Baby Play is a small group floor program focusing on creating a supportive environment for parents and primary caregivers to interact and engage with their baby.  It includes sensory activities, songs and sharing simple board books as well as tips and information on supporting your baby’s literacy development from birth.  It is also a great way for new parents to connect with other families and services in their community.

I have attached a copy of some flyers which you may like to print and pass onto your networks.   Registrations are required as places are limited, and can be made through Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/baby-play-launceston-library-tickets-46788875787.   For enquiries or assistance booking, please call 6777 2446 or email children.launceston.libraries@education.tas.gov.au
